Their mother, Erica Salazar, a retired teacher with 15+ years of experience, guides the learning process while reinforcing discipline, communication, and personal development.
Our StoryWindow Bros was founded as a family-driven project built around a simple idea: creating an opportunity for the next generation to learn entrepreneurship through real-world experience while serving their local community. The idea began with Marco Jr., who is currently pursuing his Finance degree at the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business, and Mason, a homeschooled student and accomplished guitarist with a strong creative and entrepreneurial spirit. Both expressed a desire to build a business of their own and gain hands-on experience that goes far beyond what can be learned in a traditional classroom. Their father, Marco Salazar, Partner and CEO of Rivergate Construction and a real estate investor, saw the opportunity to turn that ambition into a practical learning experience.
With years of experience in commercial construction and real estate, he recognized that building a service business could teach invaluable lessons in responsibility, customer service, and business operations. Their mother, Erica Salazar, a retired teacher with more than 15 years of experience in education, brought a unique perspective to the project — helping guide the learning process while reinforcing the importance of discipline, communication, and personal development. Together, the family saw an opportunity to combine education, entrepreneurship, and community service into one real-world venture. Window Bros was created not only to provide homeowners with high-quality, energy-efficient window replacements, but also to give the next generation the opportunity to build something meaningful while interacting with neighbors and serving the community.
